Effects of Tobacco smoking on immune response: A Review

Tobacco smoking causes a variety of illnesses, the most common which is ''Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease'' (COPD), and has severe influence on one's health.Tobacco consists nearly 7000 toxic chemicals, including free radicals oxidizing agents. The impact research being done both innate adaptive immune responses. Adaptive systems affected by include T helper cells, regulatory memory T/B lymphocytes DCs, macrophages, NK respectively. Smokers are showing highly different values parameters like several cytokines, leukocytes, granulocytes, monocytes etc., from controls. As result, immunological responses impeded cellular molecular processes permanently impaired.
